COCONUT MINI DECORTICATOR

5,000 HUSKS/DAY CAPACITY

DESCRIPTION

The mini decorticator produces mixed fibers 4 – 6 inches in length (CH-3 FIDA Grade) by separating them from the peat of coconut husks through a scraping drum where multiple blades are welded 94 millimeter apart.  Arranged 6 sets radially and 8 sets axially with 5 degrees helix angle, these blades drag the beaten coconut husks to a series of fixed counter blades arranged horizontally and in parallel with the axis of the drum, causing the rapid separation of fiber and dust.  The blades also propel the coir fiber forward towards the fiber discharge outlet while forcing the dust to fall through the separator or grate bars located below the lower halve of the cylinder.  Fibers are then collected, dried under the sun and then baled before selling or storing the in the warehouse.
