The Metals Industry Research and Development Center (MIRDC) is presently conducting the 2008 Survey of the Philippine Machining Sector to update the previous study conducted in 1993. This is the only survey on Machining that is approved and duly recognized by the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) and endorsed by the Metalworking Industry Association of the Philippines (MIAP).
