Around 200 aspiring engineers proactively sought advancement in their field as they have gained additional knowledge on a free webinar entitled “Electrical Machines Instrumentation and Analysis.” Engr. Joyce Allan A. Guingab explicitly shared his expertise on the subject matter.
The webinar, hosted by the Department of Science and Technology-Metals Industry Research and Development Center DOST-MIRDC), in partnership with the Mechatronics and Robotics Society of the Philippines (MRSP), was held on June 15, 2021. It was a part of the celebration of the Metals and Engineering Week 2021.
The resource speaker discussed the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), which formulates technical standards for electrical and medical imaging equipment manufacturing. He also discussed offline and online condition assessment and common misconceptions about electrical machines.
True to its mandate, the DOST-MIRDC engages in relevant information exchange and provides training for the county’s future engineers.
