"Molding the Future of Metal Industries"
The Metals Industry Research and Development Center (MIRDC) have aligned special events today, December 15, 2015 that will highlight the public-private partnership of the metals and allied engineering industries and the Department of Science and Technology especially MIRDC. The events are the "FGD on the Competitiveness Roadmap of the Tool and Die Industry of the Philippines" and the "PARTNERSHAPE Conference 2015."
The focus group discussion is conducted at 9:00 in the morning (at the MIRDC Platinum Auditorium) while the "PARTNERSHAPE" is held at 2:00 in the afternoon (also at the same venue). The former event is intended to review the roadmap taking into consideration developments and recent events that impact on the supply chain and over-all business environment in order to integrate strategies to support the attainment of identified goals and objectives of the said roadmap.
The latter event aims to gather together the Officers of DOST partners-associations in the Makinarya at Teknolohiya para sa Bayan (MakiBayan) Program and take advantage of the opportunity for the key decision-makers of various industry associations to view the presentations of the major MIRDC projects in 2016, overview of the planned activities for the Golden Founding Anniversary of MIRDC including exploratory discussion on the formation of a new M & E Industries foundation and status of the CNC Training Program. Fellowship follows after the Conference proper and is going to be a Christmas party time with our industry friends from 5pm onwards. Surprise musical numbers is certainly being enjoyed by the M & E guests and MIRDC/other government participants.
